PukaUp is a cause driven social enterprise (business) created with one goal in mind, to achieve its vision, 'to end suicide'.

After 4 years of hard work, PukaUp is now in a position to begin to tackle this issue properly.

PukaUp has partnered with Melbourne University’s Centre for Wellbeing Science and alffie an online education provider and tech platform to create a science backed, evidenced-based wellbeing program called Foundations of Wellbeing.

Foundations of Wellbeing is the result of interviewing 30 companies across a range of industries over the past 12 months to understand the challenges and risks that prevent businesses from prioritising the mental health of their staff and organisation. This course has been purpose built for Australian businesses.

To help prepare for the launch of this game-changing program, PukaUp is aiming to raise $330,000 from their upcoming 3-day, 331.8 km cycling event in November, 2021.

These funds have been vital to the organisations and our ability to make important investments into resourcing and capacity, on-going program development and improvement, story-telling video, technology, marketing and communications for the launch of our program this week as part of World Mental Health Week

COVID Information

Depending on COVID restrictions at the time will determine the progress of the event.

There is a possibility the Victorian State Government will mandate that participants of events such as bike rides/ tours are fully vaccinated against COVID.  If this does eventuate we won’t be in a position to allow unvaccinated riders to take part in the group ride. We respect the right of individuals to make decisions in their own best interests and in no way is this a reflection on the decisions we are all having to consider making, we are however following the guidelines and restrictions required to deliver a safe and enjoyable event for everyone involved.
