The High Country Charity Ride commenced with twenty seven riders and has now become the premier ride of the High Country. It’s a four-day cycling adventure which includes, the tough Mt Hotham and Falls Creek climbs, as well as exploring the picturesque townships of Beechworth, Bright and Myrtleford.

The event has proudly raised over $200,000 to support Tour de Cure as they raise awareness and funds to help cure cancer

The Sam Miranda Tour of King Valley is a truly unique event on the National Road Series, it has the ingredients of a European monument race because of its dirt sections and long distances. Cycle Plan was given the job to take it to the next level and cement its place in the calendar. I changed Day 1 of the Tour

to include a 40 lap criterium around Winton Raceway, it was the first time a bike race was held on the V8 supercar track which was a massive success. Day 2 was also changed to a longer distance (180km) which included 5 dirt sections to make racing  tough and exciting. The race included a full NRS list of Mens and Womens professional teams.

The CEO of Puka Up Wayne Schwass wanted to create an event that test the mind and body over 10 days. The Puka Up Grand Tour was born, a 10 day cycling marathon travelling from Melbourne, Falls Creek, Albury, Bendigo and Ballarat. The event had plenty of steady climbs, long descents and tired legs by the end of it. But there was some real honest conversation around the subjects of suicide prevention and mental health.

Goal achieved.

10 Men, 3 Days and a 80km of single track in a MTB heaven! Derby Tasmania was a location for the first annual Dirty Derby MTB weekend. A early flight to Launceston and a 2 hour drive to Derby started this weekend of frivolity. Riders enjoyed famous trails like Big Chook, Flickerty Sticks and Return to Sender. Smiles could not be wiped off their faces and that was only Day 1. Day 2 was the epic Blue Teir, a 45km single track that blew us away. Day 3 was some more shuttles with some exhilarating downhill and then a hearty lunch and a bus trip back to Launceston. Tails were told and bruises were compared, a memorable weekend of trails, beers and laughs.

Ride with Me 2019 was created in partnership of Knights of Suburbia and the charity organisation Love Me Love You founded by AFL player Lance Picioane. The event started in beautiful weather coming out of Melbourne but then conditions changed!! Snow, sleet, rain and hail fell on the courageous riders who rode to Marysville to conclude a truly epic Day 1. Better conditions on Day 2 enabled the riders to get back to Melbourne safely but with some remarkable memories. The reason behind the ride was to communicate resilience and strength in the community around mental health , this ride was combined both and gave the riders who participated a reflection of their own inner strength to finsh the event.

The Hills of Orange Charity Ride was created by a small committee of members who wanted to help find Cure for Cancer. Over 3 days - 134 rider experienced some of the worst conditions on a bike I have ever seen, wind, rain and hills made the event hard. Instead of cowering to the conditions the riders showed amazing teamwork and got every rider home safely. With $90,000 raised through the bike ride, silent auctions and personal challenges this event was one to remember.

CYCLE PLAN partnered with Puka Up to create an event that could spark genuine and honest conversation about mental health and suicide prevention. We created a plan and evacuated an event with 610 participants which captured mainstream and local media coverage. This event was a first for Puka Up and was a massive success with plans to do it annually.

CYCLEPLAN was asked to host the first night of the Tour de Cure Signature Tour, a one hundred and fifty rider, ten-day charity ride from Hotham to Hobart. The event is the charities major fundraiser has raises over 2 million dollars every consecutive year. Celebrities as Eric Bana, Jens Voigt, Drew Ginn & Mark Beretta have all taken part in this ride of epic proportions.

Ride High Country is a local innovative created by the Alpine Shire to market the high country as a riding destination.

CYCLE PLAN partnered to create their latest marketing campaign which stared Paul Van Der Ploeg and BDA racing riding then local rail trails and roads. The campaign will be advertised on Qantas in-flight videos and at the Melbourne Airport on the big screens.

In 2017, CYCLEPLAN was approached by a group of friends wanting to commemorate their 40th birthdays with an historic event.  Twenty guys started the 200km ride through the King Valley to the town of Mansfield for an afternoon of wine tasting and beer brewing. By all accounts, it was a weekend to remember.

Tour De Frothy was managed as a fundraiser for the Tour De Cure.  The line-up for the night included some of the best footballers in the AFL. Steve Johnson, Cam Mooney and Billy Brownless had all 250 in the audience in stitches as they reminisced about their playing days. A three-course dinner and a sporting memorabilia auction raised over $38,000 towards finding a cure for cancer.
